About

Brackley Wind Ensemble is a group of enthusiastic wind instrument players who have played together since 2004.  Our music covers a vast range, so something for everyone, from the lazy jazz of Gershwin’s Summertime, to Gordon Jacobs’ delightful Four Old Tunes (including a frenziedly fast version of Bobby Shafto), to the ever familiar and wonderfully arranged Beatles favourites, including Yesterday and When I’m Sixty Four. Our versions of The Pink Panther and The Simpsons will delight children and adults alike!
